Arriving in Shanghai

I did a little sightseeing tour with the sightseeing bus. During this drive I could already see the most important things in Shanghai. Here you can see the "Oldtown" of Shanghai with its traditional architecture.

The bus also drove through a tunnel to cross the river. On the other side of the river is Pudong. It is the international financial district of Shanghai with many large buildings and huge towers.

Here is a picture of the "Oldtown" by night. It looks even more stunning as you can see. The houses are all decorated with yellow lights. I love this place the most! It's definitely my favorite tourist place in Shanghai. "Yuyuan Garden" is here as well.
